Police have been carrying out further speed checks in Wharfedale villages
FURTHER police speed checks have been carried out in the Adel and Wharfedale ward.
Officers used a static SID (Speed Indicator Device) on Long Causeway and a speed gun on Kings Road, Bramhope, and found some vehicles to be travelling slightly over the limit.
A static SID on Arthington Lane, Arthington caught three vehicles travelling slightly in excess of 30mph but no speeding vehicles were witnessed on Arthington Lane.
The checks, part of a wider operation, were carried out between July 23 and July 30.
