Winkfield Parish Council (WPC) has sent out a warning after councillors felt 'disappointed' to see so much general waste being left by the recycling banks in Asher car park.

General waste should either by dumped at the recycling centre/tip or in your own bin to be collected.

WPC said: "So disappointing to again see general rubbish and obvious household clearance being dumped by the recycling banks in Asher car park.

"Please, please, please don’t abuse the system. Go to the tip or put it in your general waste to be collected. "

A number of bags filled with bottles and clothing were left in front of the recycling banks, which were found to be empty.

Residents have just been leaving them instead of putting the recycling inside.

The message further added: "A number of the bags were filled with bottles and clothing and the banks are empty so it was obviously too much trouble to empty them.

"Other rubbish included an old suitcase, lots of polystyrene and plastic sheeting and general household waste."
