HORSFORTH Farmers Market will open again this weekend at a new venue.
The market, which has been closed because of coronavirus, will be held at St Margaret’s Church - not the school - from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday, July 4.
A spokesman said: “The new venue circling the church with a clear one way system will make shopping whilst social distancing easily achievable. “Whilst the market will have a different feel, with much of the social element traditionally associated with Horsforth Market such as the children’s games not available, organisers are confident that a market set in the grounds of the church will still be a lovely environment to buy some delicious locally produced food. Importantly opening the market will be a great boost to those local produces to get their businesses up and running.”
Leeds Bread Coop and The Organic Pantry will be two of the stalls attending the market on Saturday.
