Support a safe virus response
EMERGENCY grants for community groups have been made more accessible during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Denbighshire Voluntary Services Council’s (DVSC)emergency grant round opens on Wednesday, April 1.
A spokesperson from DVSC said: “Due to the Covid-19 public health emergency there is an urgent need for voluntary and community support throughout Denbighshire to support a Covid-19 Volunteer Community Response that is safe, effective and bolsters community spirit.
“Grant criteria have been relaxed to inspire change makers throughout Denbighshire to take action. Individuals running small businesses will be able to apply with activities that support their community alongside volunteers, voluntary and community groups, third sector organisations, social enterprises and Town and Community Councils.
“We are operating a rapid grant decision making process with applications being considered on a rolling basis until funds are disbursed.”
