LEEDS City Council is scrapping charges at all of its car parks and on-street parking bays in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
All charges at council-run car parks and bays have been suspended until further notice - with priority being given to NHS and social work staff and other key workers.
Councillor Judith Blake, leader of Leeds City Council said: “We are all extremely grateful to those working so hard on the front line in the fight against Coronavirus and we’re keen to support them in any and every way we can.
“Over the coming weeks and months it’s also more important than ever that we all do what we can to help fight this pandemic by following the latest advice and guidance.”
