STAFF at a Horsforth-based accountancy practice are supporting a charity which helps women get back into work.
In recognition of International Women’s Day members of Buckle Barton have been collecting items of interview-appropriate clothing over the past few weeks to donate to Smart Works Leeds, a charity which supports women from a range of different backgrounds and age groups back into employment.
The firm’s tax manager, Julie Ferris said: “We wanted to acknowledge and celebrate the growing number of women who work in our firm, as well as do something to help other ladies in the city who may need support back into the world of work.”
She added: “We hope that our donated items will benefit women in the city and demonstrate our support of women supporting women.”
Smart Works Leeds helps women back into employment by providing interview-appropriate clothing and one-to-one coaching. Visit www.smartworks.org.uk.
