POLICE have issued two tickets to "inconsiderate" drivers who blocked drop-down kerbs when parking in Ilkley.
PCSO Lyndon Thomas and PCSO West from West Yorkshire Police's Ilkley team spotted the two vehicles on Wednesday. The cars, pictured on Mayfield Road and Lower Railway Road, stopped a woman in a motorised wheelchair from crossing the road.
One was a red Skoda and the other was a grey Volvo.
The officers issued a penalty notice for each of the vehicles.
This was for "parking in an inconsiderate manner blocking drop-down kerbs".
A police spokesperson said: "The area will now be actively monitored now the issue has been identified."
Members of the public are asked to report similar obstructions via 101.
