DEVELOPING a brand for the town will be one of Ilkley BID’s next initiatives.
BID Manager Helen Rhodes gave a round-up of what the group has achieved since starting in June, 2019 when she addressed this month’s Ilkley Business Forum.
Its activities have included sponsoring the Ilkley Business Awards, running the It’s an Ilkley Christmas campaign, offering free stalls at the Real Food Market and holding a parking survey.
The forum heard that is next phase will include:
*Further work with businesses on environmental initiatives
*The development of an Ilkley brand and website
*A second phase of street cleaning.
The business forum’s next meeting will be at The Flying Duck from 5.45pm until 7.15pm on Wednesday, March 11. It will include an employment law quiz with Martin Bate, from Sentient, followed by a question and answer session.
