ROTARIANS in Otley have given a funding boost to St George’s Crypt.

The Rotary Club of Otley Chevin recently presented a cheque for £500 to one of the charity’s trustees, Ian Pickup.

The money, handed over by the club’s Chair Roy Tate and Community Service Chair John Kitchen, was part of the proceeds raised by members through carol singing in the run-up to Christmas, 2019.

St George’s Crypt is dedicated to supporting homeless and vulnerable people, and those fighting addiction, in the Leeds area. The organisation works to help people who are living on the streets to find accommodation and gain the skills they need to forge their own futures.

It also works with other organisations to help people get access to employment and training opportunities.
