THERE is a full meeting of Ilkley Town Council on Monday, January 13 at 7.30pm in the town hall.

Councillors will receive a presentation from Kath Steward, of Climate Action Ilkley, on plans for a community orchard project in Ilkley. Other items on the agenda include a presentation from volunteers of Ilkley Food Bank and a discussion on town centre litter. The Council is being asked to note developments during the Christmas period and consider any further Town Council response in collaboration with other agencies.

The Council will receive an update from Cllr Tom Franks on the Bradford Council car parking review and consider a Town Council response to Bradford Council’s review.

The Council will also be asked to authorise the Mayor to write to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Robbie Moore MP and Bradford Council leaders on the subject of the Town Council’s Climate Emergency declaration.
