SCHOOL pupils in Otley have been working to support their local Food Bank.
Year 12 students at Prince Henry’s Grammar School have been busy collecting food for Otley Food Bank as it seeks to support people in need over the Christmas period.
Student Ollie Hodgson said: “We wanted to help members of our community who may be finding it difficult to provide for their family at this time of the year.
“We realise that at Christmas time there can be extra financial pressures, so we wanted to help out.”
Student Leadership and Post-16 Manager, Vicki Robinson-Junni, said: “We are really grateful to all our Sixth Form students.
“They have brought in so many donations, and the organising group have done brilliantly.
“The Christmas Food Bank Project is a part of the ASDAN Level 3 in Personal Effectiveness which allows young people to build the skills they will need as they prepare for future study or work.”
