STEETON Male Voice Choir will perform a Christmas concert in Ilkley on December 21.
The presentation will be at St Margaret’s Church in Queens Road from 6.30pm with the men performing alongside Addingham Primary School’s choir. Choir spokesman Eric Parker said: “We are looking forward to hearing the children as they have been practicing hard to bring of their best for this occasion. Steeton MVC have also had many concerts through the year, and rehearsals during the autumn have been dedicated to Christmas music for this one night. The audience will also need to be in good voice as they will have opportunities to join in during the concert.”

Bradford Festival Choral Society is holding a family Christmas concert in their home city this month. St George’s Hall will play host to the event on December 19 from 3pm, when the choir will be joined by the Rothwell Temperance Band and the Bradford Catholic Youth Choir. A society spokesman said: “It’s a fantastic way to start your Christmas festivities, with fun for the whole family, and some lucky children might get a chance to conduct the band.”
