A CHARITY tractor run is taking to the roads again.
The annual Christmas Bronte Tractor Run is being staged on Sunday, December 29.
Proceeds from the event – now in its 19th year – will go to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
“Although it’s called a tractor run any vehicles are welcome – the more the merrier,” said Stanley Turner, for the organising group.
“Over the years we’ve now raised more than £45,000 for the air ambulance.”
Last year, more than 60 vehicles took part and the event coined-in over £1,620.
This year’s run will set off from the Colin Appleyard garage in Halifax Road, Keighley, at 10am, and will follow a slightly different route from previous years.
Participants will stop for coffee and mince pies at The 3 Acres, Lees Moor.
A collection will take place in Main Street, Haworth, and the event will finish as usual at the Bronte Hotel where there will be soup and a raffle.
Further information about the event can be obtained from Mr Turner on 01535 643391.
