LOCAL musicians are joining forces for a fundraising show in Otley.

The event, in aid of Wildlife Friendly Otley, takes place at the Black Horse Hotel on Thursday, December 12 when the performers will be the CJ Smith Band and The Stolen Bows.

The CJ Smith Band is a blues-based group featuring some of Wharfedale’s finest musicians, all with a history of playing in various bands. The Stolen Bows, meanwhile are a multi-instrumental duo who specialise in Americana-style sounds.

Co-founder of Wildlife Friendly Otley, Andrew McKeon, said: “What could be a better way to blow away Brexit and election overload and get away from it all than an evening of terrific music - whilst helping our local wildlife.”

The doors open at 7.30pm and tickets, which cost £9, are available from the Black Horse. For more details send an e-mail to wildlifefriendlyotley@gmail.com.
