SIXTEEN teams from local businesses and organisations competed for The Andrew Hartley Trophy when the the Rotary annual business quiz took place at Ilkley Rugby Club, sponsored by Ison Harrison Solicitors in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice.

The winning team after a very close match was Stuart Quarmby’s team. The quiz made a profit of £950 for Martin House Hospice which will be added to the Holly Ball profit which take place on Saturday, December 14.

Menston Catering supplied a delicious supper of shepherd’s pie chips and pies enjoyed by all.

The raffle comprising of a meal for two from The Wheatley Hotel, manicure kindly donated from Jasmine, Rugby Club manager and many bottles of spirits and other prizes raised £520. Special old Aberlour whisky donated by Jacqui Nicholl in memory of her father raised £90.
