STUDENTS at an Otley school have been pitting their wits against staff members for charity.
The library at Prince Henry’s Grammar School was buzzing with fevered thinking during the recent Staff Versus Sixth Form fundraising quiz.
Members of Otley Rotary club led the questioning as teams of six fought it out for victory.
In the end the Science department emerged triumphant after narrowly beating the three teams who tied for second place.
Student Leadership and Post-16 Manager at Prince Henry’s, Vicki Robinson-Junni, said: “The senior students did so well to organise such a brilliant event.
“It is the first of our fundraising activities for the charities which the students have chosen - Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the World Wildlife Fund - and it has got us off to a great start. We are really grateful to Otley Rotary Club for helping us.”
