THE Ladies Please Christmas concert takes place on Tuesday, December 17 at Menston Methodist Church Hall at 7.30pm.
Choir Secretary Liz Sharp said: “The concert will consist of Christmas songs old and new. Rutter’s Candlelight Carol and Carol of the Children with old favourites Sleigh Ride, Let it Snow, So You Hear What I Hear?, When a Child is Born, and old favourite Away in a Manger, among others.
“There will be community carol singing to involve the audience, and Christmas readings with solo items from soprano Lucy Clarke. We will also be holding a Christmas raffle.
“It will be a lovely evening. We look forward to seeing all our supporters.”
The tickets are priced at £7 to include refreshments and are available from Sarah Hobson at sehobson12@hotmail.com.
All funds raised will be donated to HODU, the Haematology and Oncology Day Unit.
