Picture of the Week by Philip Robins
THIS week’s Picture of the Week was taken by Philip Robins, of Addingham on October 8 and shows walkers enjoying a fine Autumn day walking towards the Aqueduct between Strid Wood and Barden. The Aqueduct carries water from the reservoirs at the top of Nidderdale to the cities of West Yorkshire. Built to look like a fortified bridge, with ornate castellations, it also acts as a convenient crossing point of the river Wharfe near Bolton Abbey.
