FOLLOWING this year’s Ilkley Half Marathon, event organisers, Ilkley and District Round Table, have applied for a premises licence to hold future public events at West Holmes Field.

The inaugural Ilkley Half Marathon raised in excess of £30,000 for local good causes and now Ilkley Round Table is making preparations to confirm the date for the town’s next half marathon in 2020. Confirmation of the event date will be published soon and entrant places will go on sale via the event’s website (www.ilkleyhalfmarathon.co.uk) in December 2019.

The organising committee is holding a public drop-in session at The Wheatley Arms, Ben Rhydding on November 19 between 5pm and 7pm in the function room. Members of the team will be available to answer queries. This is an opportunity to find out more about the 2020 proposed event and also about the good causes that have benefitted from the funds raised. If you are unable to make the drop in session please feel free to contact the team on: enquiries@ilkleyhalfmarathon.co.uk
