THE next Wharfedale Naturalists talk will be a presentation on the impact of climate change being experienced on earth.

The presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 22 at 7.30pm at Christchurch, The Grove, Ilkley. Visitors are welcome (£2.50 entrance) and annual membership of the Society is available on the night for just £12.50.

Wharfedale Naturalists Society president Peter Riley said: "The guest presenter is Ashley Cooper who has produced an outstanding pictorial record of climate change in a book entitled ‘Images From a Warming Planet’. These images are the culmination of 14 years of work travelling to every continent to document the causes and impacts of climate change and the rise of renewable energy. The talk will illustrate the way people’s perceptions and concerns about climate change have changed over the years as the impacts have become more obvious all round the world. His images have won environmental competitions and have featured in books, magazines, journals and newspapers both local and national including on number of front pages."
