REAL Food Ilkley’s October market was another success after the monthly event’s move to a new location.

A spokesperson for the market said: “It was our second time on The Grove and we had more stalls than ever, some non food and all local independent traders.

“The feedback was brilliant from customers and around a quarter of the stalls had sold out by 1.30pm, with some having to make emergency dashes back to their kitchens for more stock!

“We’re thrilled by the continued positive response to the market and grateful to the Bandstand Committee for working with us and allowing us use of the bandstand.

“This Sunday we had two local musicians perform who really added to the atmosphere of the market.

“We are also seeing more people offering to volunteer which is brilliant – as a non profit making organisation we are grateful for any time people feel they can give.”

The entertainment at Sunday’s market was provided by guitar duo Adam Catlin and Robert Brice and Richard Stirland, an acoustic guitarist.
