BLUES music is returning to Ingrow railway station with an informal event on Saturday September 28.

Blues Jam in a Box Car will feature blues and Olde Tyme American music played by leading performers from the area.

The informal event runs from 1pm and 4pm in the Learning Coach at RailStory, the station’s educational visitor attraction.

Performers include Ben Blue Waters, who organises regular blues and roots nights across Keighley, Diamond Dac, and Gerry Cooper.

There will be opportunities for other singers and musicians to join in the event with songs of their own.

Organiser Jim Pickles said: “Holding the event in a railway carriage adds an element of quirkiness to the afternoon. The event is free.”
