BURLEY-IN-WHARFEDALE Cricket Club will host a charity fundraising cricket match this Saturday in support of neighbours Olicanian CC, whose clubhouse was tragically burnt down recently.
Support for this event from across the Aire-Wharfe Cricket League would be greatly appreciated and show Olicanians how much everyone is behind them as they look to re-build.
The match starts at 1pm with the bar open all day, BBQ and food after the game. League secretary Matt Grimes will also be DJ for the evening.
A select XI will take on an Olicanians XI and guest players confirmed to take part are Yorkshire players Harry Brook and George Hill, Henry Wilson (Ilkley), Danny Groom (Tong Park), Barry Singleton (North Leeds), Steve Brown (Otley), Henry Barrow (Ben Rhydding), Stuart Hudson (Beckwithshaw), Tom Lester (Hall Park) and Ed Brown (Bingley).
