HISTORIC venues and sites across Wharfedale and Aireborough will open to the public this weekend.
This year’s national Heritage Open Days event runs from Friday, September 13 to Sunday, September 22 - and lots of local buildings and groups will be involved.
All Saints Parish Church, in Otley, will be showing off historical documents and archive material between 12.30pm and 2pm on Sunday, September 15. The church’s belltower will also be open to visitors from 10am to noon and from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, September 14 and then from 12.30pm to 2pm on Sunday, September 15. Refreshments will be available in church during the heritage events.
Aireborough Camera Club, meanwhile, will be presenting Around Aireborough - A Photographic Exhibition at Guiseley Theatre from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, September 21.
