THE 102nd Arthington Show will feature everything from vintage tractor displays to terrier racing.

This year’s event takes place on Sunday, June 30 and will also include heavy horses, a children’s area, Airedale Beagles, Equine Acrobatics, Opera in the Field and Ferret Racing.

The competition categories will include gymkhana, cattle and sheep, mounted fancy dress and, in the Produce Marquee, horticulture, home baking, eggs, preserves and handicrafts.

There will also be live music throughout the day along with a variety of stalls and refreshments.

The organisers are promising ‘something for everyone at a fun-filled family day out’, and also encouraging people to bring along a picnic.

Admission costs £8 for adults or £4 for senior citizens and children under 16, with family tickets - for two adults and up to three children - available for £20.
