A PUPIL at Ben Rhydding Primary School was sponsored to have her hair cut for The Little Princess Trust.
Ten-year-old Rebecca Bridgen wanted a haircut and realised it could be sent off to be used to make wigs for children with cancer.
Rebecca then decided to raise money for the charity after finding out each wig costs £500 to make.
With the support of school, friends and family, Rebecca cut her hair in front of other pupils one lunchtime at school.
The total amount raised to send to the charity stands at £731.89.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people up to the age of 24, who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other conditions.
