UNDER the Sea will be the theme of the fourth Horsforth Walk of Art.

The free event takes place on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7 when scores of artists and artworks will be involved and visitors will be able to enjoy street displays and talk to the artists. Activities will include film making, illustration, lino printing, and belly dancing and the fun runs from 11am to 5pm on both days.

Project Manager Kezia Roberts said: “Schools and other groups have been decorating wooden whales which form part of the walk. There will be a hide and seek activity along the routes, where children can keep the sea creatures they find, and other artists and residents have embraced the theme by creating installations in gardens, poetry and even a record-breaking attempt to make origami sea creatures.”

The walk involves 81 venues split into three coloured routes. Visit www.horsforth-woa.org for more details.
