A FUN dog show at Weston has raised £1,350 for Guide Dogs.
Fifty dogs entered the event at Cock Pit Farm Tea Rooms on Sunday, June 2 - the latest in a series of fundraisers that the cafe has been holding for its charity of the year.
The Best in Show was judged to be Seamus, an Irish terrier owned by Hilary Schofield, while also attending was Guide Dogs volunteer Andrew Barton with Guide Dog Hero.
Tea rooms owner Sue Sansbury said: “In spite of a wet day fun was had by all. My staff donated their wages and our volunteers, as always, did a great job. This was our fifth show and it is getting bigger and better each year!
“We have now raised £5,700 for Guide Dogs so we can name a puppy. We have chosen the name Scramble and look forward to meeting him or her and following their progress.”
