SOME stall spaces are still available at this year’s Otley Carnival.

The 2019 event takes place on Saturday, June 15 and as always will begin with a fun-packed parade through town, setting off from Wharfedale Farmers Auction Mart just after 1pm.

Featuring an eye-catching array of decorated floats, walking groups and bands, the parade will finish up at the Carnival Field on Bridge End where lots of family-focused attractions - including fairground rides and giant inflatables - will be available.

Otley Carnival Committee, which is busy putting the finishing touches to all the preparations, is keen for anyone wishing to hold a stall at the carnival field not to miss out.

They said: “It’s not too late to snap up one of the few remaining stalls at this year’s carnival and make some money, either as a charity, local group or a business.”

More details are available by sending an e-mail to: natalia_hannan@hotmail.co.uk . This year’s carnival programme, meanwhile is available now from venues across town including Otley Core and Otley Library. Proceeds from the 2019 carnival will be shared between Marie Curie, Hug on a Tray and Springboard Wellbeing.
