DOG lovers can enjoy a fun-focused show at Eccup next weekend.
The Donkey Sanctuary Leeds is promising fun for all the family at the Sunday, June 2 event which will include 11 classes ranging from Best Puppy to Dog Most Like its Owner.
Running at the charity’s base on Swan Lane, Eccup from 10am to 3pm, the day will also feature terrier racing, agility activities and flyball. A bouncy castle will be set up for children and visitors of all ages will be invited to take part in gala games.
Refreshments and a barbecue will be available throughout the day along with trade and charity stalls.
Visitors will also be able to find out more about the role the centre’s 20-plus resident donkeys play - and its adopt-a-donkey scheme. An entry programme costs £1 while dog show classes cost £2 each or three for £5, with all proceeds going to support The Donkey Sanctuary’s work.
