AN OUTDOOR performer with a penchant for taking risks will be the star attraction at this year’s Askwith Show.
The Dangerous Steve Show is described as featuring ‘crazy balancing and a thrilling fire and chainsaw juggling finale’.
That should make for interesting viewing at the 2019 Askwith and District Annual Show which takes place from 9am on Saturday, June 1.
As always the event will also include displays of entries across a range of classes including horse and pony, dog, sheep, vintage machinery, produce and handicraft, and photography. Other attractions will include reptile and animal handling sessions from Honeybank Farm, Punch and Judy shows, children’s rides and live music from Otley Brass Band.
There will also be donkey rides and displays by Otley Ferret Welfare, Wharfedale Terrier Racing and Airedale Beagles - plus a bar and a variety of food and drink.
