OTLEY’S Original Factory Shop has unveiled the winner of its schools art competition.
The chain - whose local store opened in 2010 - celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and asked local schools to create a piece of commemorative artwork.
Otley’s winning school has been named as All Saints C of E Primary which will have its colourful piece of art displayed in the store on Saturday, May 18 - and residents are being invited to pop in to enjoy a ‘celebration of all things Otley’. Otley All Saints now has a chance of winning £1,000 as the competition’s overall winner as its entry goes up against other local winners across the country.
CEO of The Original Factory Shop, Emma Fox, said: “We’re thrilled to be celebrating 50 years in the community. Everyone in Otley is coming together for what we’re hoping will be an amazing event.
The Otley store, meanwhile would like to hear from performers - including choirs and dancers - of any age who would like to perform during its celebratory weekend.
