OTLEY’S three brass bands will unite for a celebratory concert in town this weekend.
Otley Brass, Wharfe Brass and Stepping Stones will all perform at The Bridge Church on Saturday, May 11.
Regular conductors Sam Watson and Andy Novell will be overseeing proceedings as the groups showcase their work from 7pm.
A spokeswoman for the bands said: “This concert is a great chance for the bands to play together and for the younger players to build their experience of playing concerts. The show will end with the bands playing Vangelis’ Conquest of Paradise together, which should produce a wonderful sound.”
Tickets cost £7 for adults or £6 for concessions, with family tickets also available for £15. They can be purchased in advance by calling (01943) 464136 and will also be available on the door.
Proceeds will be split between the bands and The Joanna Project.
