OTLEY Chamber Orchestra is preparing to stage a family-focused Spring concert.
The event, in aid of Otley Courthouse, takes place at the Methodist Church’s Wesley Hall from 7.30pm on Sunday, May 19.
The programme includes Humperdinck’s overture to his opera, Hänsel und Gretel plus Elgar’s Nursery Suite.
The orchestra will also perform Haydn’s popular Symphony No 101 in D Major, known as the ‘The Clock’, and Finnish composer Sibelius’s tone poem Finlandia.
As always, anyone aged under 18 - who is accompanied - can attend the concert for free and families are encouraged to come along.
Orchestra Administrator Helen Thornton said: “We‘re really excited about our concert which this year includes a number of pieces that will appeal to families.”
Tickets for the show cost £9 and will be available on the door.
They can also be bought in advance at www.otleycourthouse.org.uk or by calling (01943) 467466.
