VOLUNTEERS from the Friends of Ilkley Moor (FoIM) have been working on the Moor for the last ten years.
Now they will have a large supply of new hand tools, thanks to the generosity of Ilkley Rotary and Mortens.
FoIM are very grateful both to Rotary for their generous grant of £1,000 for hand tools and to Mortens for supplying them at a considerable discount.
Owen Wells, Chairman of FoIM said “Our hard working volunteers will be absolutely delighted to have new sharp saws and loppers (and mattocks, pitchforks and bars) when they next go to work on the Moor.
“It will make a huge difference to them.”
