AS part of an exhibition at the Art Shop Gallery in Ilkley for May local artist Tony Dexter will be displaying paintings based around the Seaside - from boats to bays, crabs to rock pools to shorelines.
“The exhibition also showcases some of my other painting themes but the seaside, particularly the East Coast, has been an inspiration for much of my work,” says Tony. “My work is vibrant and colourful with paintings that bring to mind the seaside in a contemporary and vivid way.”
Tim Tennant at the Art Shop added: “We are delighted to invite Tony back for another exhibition following the success last year.
“His paintings are of a style and size ideal for people wanting to have something distinctive and stunning.
“Previously we have had customers buying his work not only for homes around Yorkshire but also Cornwall and Portugal and Spain.”
The exhibition runs from April 29 to May 31 in the Art shop Gallery in Hawksworth Street, Ilkley.
Open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.
