A PRE-school based in Rawdon has improved to a Good rating following a recent Ofsted inspection.

Peter Pan Pre-School was praised for its swift work to move from requires improvement to Good.

Inspectors said: "The provider has worked hard to address weaknesses from the last inspection.

"Training takes place to ensure staff know their roles and responsibilities in safeguarding children.

"Staff plan a wide range of activities and experiences, and children make good progress from their individual starting points.

"Children's personal, social and emotional development is supported very well. They are happy, settled and enjoy their time at the pre-school."

Inspectors identified some areas where Peter Pan can improve, which were to create more opportunities to help parents engage in their children's learning, and give staff more opportunities to improve their skills to the highest level.
