Ready to sound for Notre Dame - one of the bells at Otley All Saints Parish Church
CHURCH bells in Otley will ring out this week in a show of solidarity with Notre Dame Cathedral.
Otley All Saints Parish Church's bells will sound on the evening of Maundy Thursday, April 18 in a gesture of support for the Parisian cathedral which was ravaged by fire on Monday.
The move follows a call by the Archbishop of Canterbury for churches and cathedrals across the country to toll a bell, for 7 minutes at 7pm, on Thursday in a nation-wide expression of support.
