AN EASTER Egg Hunt will be held at Ilkley’s Nell Bank Outdoor Centre on Good Friday.

The event, from 10am to 2pm, will feature an Easter egg trail, with a prize for the winner, and refreshments. Visitors are invited to have a go on the adventure playground.

The event will offer an opportunity for the public to learn more about the work carried out at Nell Bank and to raise funds for the centre, which is visited by thousands of children each year.

Head of Centre Dan Goodey said: “We are incredibly excited for this year’s Easter Egg Hunt. Our recent events have proved to be a massive success and helped us to raise money that has contributed towards our Assisted Places programme and the development of our site.”

“The Easter egg hunt will allow us to share with the local community what we have to offer here at Nell Bank. Many of the children who come here take part in the activities with their school friends and classmates, but this event will allow them to show their parents how exciting a trip to Nell Bank can be.”

The Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Friday, April 19 at the centre on Denton Road. Entry is £2.50 per a person, tickets are available on the Nell Bank website with only a limited number available on the day. Nell Bank provides learning opportunities for children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
