THE CHIPPENDALE Singers will be performing at Otley Parish Church in June.
The mixed chamber choir will present Baroque and Roll! at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 8.
Under the direction of Lee Wiltamuth the choir will perform an evening of
musical contrasts including works by Bach, Handel, Purcell and pieces by Lennon and McCartney, Queen, and Mancini.
A spokesman said: “Along with our resident accompanist Richard Wilson we also have some members of Airedale Symphony Orchestra providing instrumental support.
“So do come along and enjoy Handel’s majestic Ode to Queen Anne as well as the iconic Bohemian Rhapsody.”
Tickets cost £10 and are available on the door, from The Core, Orchardgate or
from bookings@chippendalesingers.co.uk.
The choir was founded in 1990 and consists of about 28 members who meet weekly from September to July.
