Otley Science Festival is set to develop more activities for young people as The Grammar School at Leeds is announced as a new sponsor.
The week-long event has run at Otley Courthouse every November since 2008, drawing in a wide audience from schools and the general public.
Marty Jopson, from the festival, said: “We are immensely grateful to all our sponsors and we’re delighted to welcome GSAL as a festival partner. Their support will enable us to extend our outreach work in local schools, and we look forward to involving their students and staff in festival activities.”
GSAL Principal Sue Woodroofe said: “Otley Science Festival brings science to life for schoolchildren across the region. We’re excited to be working together to inspire young people about the endless possibilities of science.”
Otley Science Festival runs from November 11 to 16, with the Science Fair taking place on Saturday, November 16.
