THE Friends of Ilkley Moor volunteers have been replacing the boardwalk on the public footpath in Middleton Woods.
Owen Wells, the chairman of the Friends of Ilkley Moor said: “Although Middleton Woods is a little way away from Ilkley Moor, we were very happy that our volunteers were able to help repair the footpath, just at the time that the bluebells are beginning their magnificent display.
“Earlier in March, the volunteers helped to replace the benches in Middleton Woods so that members of the public will be able to sit and appreciate the bluebells.
“The volunteers are expecting to make a final visit to Middleton Woods next week to complete the renovation of the public footpath.”
