WHARFEDALE residents will soon be able to enjoy a freshly made pizza in Bramhope.

A new pizza shop is due to open at the Bramhope Village Bakery - where it will operate in the evenings - on Friday, March 29.

The venture, from the bakery’s owner Liam Kenrick-Bailey and business partner Simon Kirsima, will see Italian Head Pizza Chef Matteo Salaris using all British ingredients.

Mr Kenrick-Bailey said: “Bramhope Village Pizza will provide pizza to Bramhope and surrounding areas. We believe we are the first pizza shop in the country to create authentic Neapolitan pizzas using 100 per cent Yorkshire and British ingredients.

“Even our flour and mozzarella is British!”

The shop’s menu also has a Yorkshire twist, offering delicacies such as pork pie pizza with Wharfedale sausage and black pudding. For more details visit www.bramhopepizza.co.uk .
