A LIFESAVING medical device has been installed at an Otley rugby club’s grounds.
Old Otliensians RUFC teamed up with Otley Defibrillators and Global CPAd Campaign to add a public access defibrillator to their Pool Road clubhouse. Captain Sam Featherstone said: “I am proud of our club, family, friends and supporters for making this happen.”
Fundraiser Tom Featherstone added: “Most of the funding came by way of a raffle for a meat hamper supplied by JB Wilkinson and Sons butchers: we are very grateful. A defibrillator is a lifesaving piece of equipment; we are all glad to have it on hand.”
