A LARGE group of French students have been enjoying a visit to Otley.
Forty eight students from the Lycée André Malraux, in Otley’s twin town of Montereau, were given a tour of Prince Henry’s Grammar School on Thursday, March 14.
They also held a speaking practice session with GCSE French pupils at the school before being welcomed to Otley by Town Mayor Mary Vickers, her Consort Jim Spencer and Deputy Mayor Peter Jackson.
Assistant Headteacher: Learning Community at Prince Henry’s, Christopher Lillington, was also part of the welcoming committee.
He said: “It was a pleasure to welcome the students from our twin town of Montereau. With students from Germany and Spain here as well, it is fair to say that Modern Languages are flourishing at Prince Henry’s!”
