THE Ilkley Scare Trail has presented a cheque for £2000 to the LS29 Special Needs Group. They were one of three beneficiaries of the £6,000 raised at last October’s Halloween event. Event organisers Paul Jennings and Daniel Rodley were at LS29’s play session last Monday to present the cheque to Rebeca Goodman one of the charities’ leaders and met some of the young people and parents supported by the group.

The Scare Trail organisers are looking for local groups to apply to be one of the beneficiaries in this year’s event, Paul Jennings from the Trail said: “We are so proud to help LS29, they do amazing work with a wonderful group of families throughout the local area. Local groups, charities and not for profit organisations who would like top be part of The Scare Trail 2019 can contact at ilkleyscaretrail@gmail.com for the details of how to apply! We are hoping this year’s event will be even bigger than 2018, so get your expression of interests in now!”

Daniel Rodley, the Trail facilities manager said: “We had over 2000 people at the trail last year which was amazing. The trail is supported by local businesses and we really appreciate their generosity, making it possible to give the money raised on the day out to these wonderful causes. If you would like to be one of our sponsors this year please get in touch.”
