HORSFORTH Churches Together are hosting a series of Lent Talks during March and April.
On the theme of How does my faith sustain me? a number of different speakers will share their experiences of challenging times in their lives and how their faith helped them through.
The series was due to start with a talk on Navigating Infertility at The Grove Church at 7.30pm on Monday, March 11.
The experience of working with and being a refugee will be examined on Tuesday, March 19. Waiting for the Sun to Rise will take place at 7.30pm at St Margaret’s Centre.
On Wednesday, March 27, Sustained and Transformed will look at the Christian faith and its effect on work and life. The event will take place at 7.30pm at Cragg Hill Baptist Church.
A Blessing in Disguise looks at the experience of parenting a child with a short life prognosis. The talk takes place at St Mary’s School at 7.30pm on Thursday April, 4.
