AN EMOTIONAL play about a man with Alzheimer’s disease will be performed in Otley next month.
Otley Players will present The Last Memory, by Alan Stockdill, at Otley Labour Rooms on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10.
There will be two performances on the Saturday, at 4pm and at 7pm, while the Sunday show starts at 2pm. The bar will be open 30 minutes before and after each performance.
The play shows Ernest sharing his hopes and fears with his daughter, Lynne, after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Tickets cost £4 and are available from Browns Gallery on Wesley Street, Otley or by sending an e-mail to otleyplayersotley@gmail.com .
Some of the proceeds will go to Otley Action for Older People while raffle ticket sales will go to the venue’s Access All Areas fund. The Labour Rooms has a stairlift.
