BEAUTY students from France and Switzerland will study in Yeadon this summer in a newly launched academy.

Silvya Terrade, which has 47 beauty schools in France and Switzerland has chosen the Yorkshire College of Beauty to host its summer academy for its students.

A spokeswoman for the Yeadon-based college said: “This is a fantastic partnership and one we are very excited about. We are looking forward to welcoming as many as 32 students to study with us during the summer.

“During their training they will gain an understanding of how the beauty aesthetics procedures may differ from overseas and learn additional procedures that they do not cover, as well as English language which will be taught by our language tutor.

“Attending this program is a positive step towards becoming a competent beauty therapist, learning new skills and cultures.

It’s not all work, work, work, during the summer academy, students will have the opportunity to visit the vibrant city of Leeds and surrounding areas.”
