OTLEY Pub Club chose a recently refurbished inn for its latest meeting.
The group’s committee met at the Rose and Crown on Thursday, February 7 to welcome new licensees Glenn Binger and his wife, Mandy Draper.
The couple reopened the pub in January following a £70,000 refurbishment by Ei Publican Partnerships.
Otley Pub Club Chair Matt Hardin said: “We were delighted to properly welcome Mandy and Glenn to Otley - and also to wish Mandy a happy birthday.
“We decided to have our monthly meeting at the first opportunity at the refurbished Rose and Crown and what a lovely coincidence it was that it was Mandy’s birthday.
“We wish them both a successful and happy time running this historic Otley pub.
“We also look forward to working with them to support and promote Otley’s famous pub scene.”.
